    Description

Introducing the MCP9700 temperature sensor module, designed & manufactured by Cytron Technologies. This module uses the MCP9700 IC that detects the change in ambient temperature and is compatible with microcontrollers that operate on 3.3V and 5V systems. This enables this module to work with most NodeMCU, ESP32, micro:bit, Raspberry Pi and Arduino boards.

MCP9700 is a low-power linear active thermistor IC (temperature sensor), perfect for battery-powered devices such as IoT to measure temperature from -40ºC to 150ºC. With a wide operating voltage of 2.3V to 5.5V, it can easily be integrated into the Arduino, micro:bit and Raspberry Pi systems. In fact, any system that can read analog voltage is able to interface with this temperature sensor.

    Features
    • 3-pin male header interface (breadboard and jumper wires friendly)
    • Linear temperature sensor, with ADC output
    • Temperature Coefficient: 10mV/ºC
    • Wide operating voltage: 2.3V to 5.5VDC
    • Wide measurement range: -40ºC to 150ºC
    • Low power consumption: 6µA (typical)
