6V 600RPM Medium Power DC Micro Metal Gearmotor

OMG! This small yet powerful motor is a great solution for a small robot with a 2-pin JST(PHR-2) connector. This motor is being used on rero:micro robot:)

We have been carrying SPG10 motor for quite some time and it has served the makers community well. It is being used in Edubot2, Aluminium Robot Chasis and the famous DIY PR23-B multifunction robot. This particular motor is specially chosen and soldered with wires that terminated with 2-pin JST connector. And it is being used on rero:micro to drive the micro:bit mobile robot. Many are using it to build a small mobile robot such as sumo, small automation model and of course other application too. The wire connector length is 5cm.

This version of the brushed motor comes with a 30:1 gearbox attached. The gearbox output shaft is a D-shaped with 9mm long and 3mm in diameter. There are several types of wheels that you may use together with this motor:

• Mini Wheel 34x7mm for N20 Gear Motor
• Sumozade Silicone Wheel Set (30mm x 23mm)
• JSumo Silicone  Wheel Set (26mm x  22mm)

All SPG10 motors are DC brushed motor with gearbox. The rated voltage is 6V, yet we have tried to drive this motor from 3V to 9V. Lower voltage might not have enough torque to drive the wheel or mechanism; higher voltage will provide higher torque and higher speed, but it will shorten the life of the motor.
