Automatic Dustbin Using REKA:BIT

Introduction

Maybe this is the first tutorial using REKA:BIT. ? So I decide to build a simple automatic dustbin. When the sensor detects an object distance of less than 10cm, the servo motor will open the cover for 5 seconds.

Hardware Preparation

This is the list of items used in the video.

• REKA:BIT - Simplifying Robotics with micro:bit
• Grove - Ultrasonic Ranger
• RC Servo Motor (Metal Gear)
• Aluminum 25T Servo Horn Arm (Red)

Sample Program

This sample program is using MakeCode. Before that you need to add the extension of "rekabit" and "grove".
