Nano Base Board (B) For CM4

This is the basic baseboard for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, it supports both the Lite version (without onboard eMMC) and with eMMC of CM4. Not to forget the wireless and non-wireless versions of CM4.

Same Size As The CM4

Standard CM4 Socket, With Multiple Peripheral Interfaces, Suitable For Narrow Application Environments.

Note: The CM4 is NOT included. Please buy it separately if necessary.

Note: The 40-pin GPIO Headers are NOT pre-soldered out of the box.


What's On Board

  1. CM4 socket: Suitable for all variants of Compute Module 4, for stacking CM4
  2. Micro SD card slot: For connecting a Micro SD card with a pre-burnt image (Lite variant ONLY)
  3. 40-PIN GPIO Pads: Suitable for connecting to various HAT modules, the 40-pin GPIO headers are included but NOT soldered out of the box
  4. Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 Port/Connector: True Gigabit Ethernet Port
  5. Power supply / Programming: 5V power supply, or used for eMMC burning
  6. 3.5mm Audio Jack
  7. User Button: Programmable button connected to GPIO21 and pulled up by default
  8. USB2.0 interface: For connecting sorts of USB devices
  9. CSI interface: 1 × MIPI CSI camera interface
  10. DSI interface: 1 x MIPI DSI display interface
  11. MP1658: DC buck circuit to power 3.3V for DSI, CSI and GPIO
  12. Mini HDMI Connector: Supports 4K 30fps output
  13. BOOT slide switch:
    1. ON: Switch USB to Type C interface, CM4 will enter download mode when powered on (configured as a large-capacity disk through RPI boot)
    2. OFF: Switch USB to Type-A interface, will not enter download mode when powered on (CM4 will boot from eMMC or Micro SD card)


  • DO NOT hot-plug any devices except the USB and HDMI.
  • The USB2.0, CSI, DSI and Audio interfaces are disabled by default on CM4 and need to be enabled by the user.
