The Hall Sensor measures the Hall Effect, which is a production of a voltage difference across an electrical conductor, transverse to an electric current in the conductor as well as a magnetic field perpendicular to the current. The output of the continuous-time switch Hall sensor on this Twig switches low and turns on when a magnetic field (south polarity) perpendicular to the Hall sensor exceeds the BOP threshold, and it switches high and turn on when the magnetic field disappears.

Ready to use with microcontrollers as digital input. This product also has a compact modular design Plug-and-play grove compatible interface.

Base Shield V2 with Grove Sensors

The picture above shows the grove shield for Arduino is stacked with Seeeduino V4.2. Of course you can use that shield with Arduino too :).You can also connect the Grove - Hall Sensors with the Shield and play with it. However this Grove - Hall Sensor is not compatible with Raspberry Pi ,BeagleBone and Bio platform.  

Note: Controllers are sold separately.
