    Description

    This Encoder Sensor Module Digital Output can use to check the rate of an electric motor. This module can be used with a microcontroller for motor speed detection, pulse count and position limit. In principle, any rate meter simply measures the rate at which some event occurs. Usually, this is done by counting the events for a given period of time (integration interval) and then simply dividing the number of events by the time to get the rate.

    • If the sensor slot is blocked, the DO is High (1)
    • If the sensor slot is not blocked, the DO is Low (0)
    • It comes with an LED indicator, light up when the slot is not blocked.

    Instructions for module use:

    1. When there is no shielding/blocking in the sensor's slot, the receiving tube is conductive, and the module DO outputs a low level.
    2. The module DO can be connected with the relay to form the limit switch and other functions, and can also be connected with the active buzzer module to form the alarm. And of course to microcontroller like Arduino for speed calculation.
